However, our duty to anyone who walks through our door extends past the boundary of our dealership! We're proud to support organizations, awards, and events at Land Rover Alexandria. For events like the Land Rover Trek Competition and the Defender Service Awards, we're proud to represent our community and raise money for excellent causes! Learn more about each below, and let us know if you want to help!

Defender Service Awards

The Defender Service Awards was created to honor organizations with a customized Land Rover Defender 130 vehicle and monetary prizes to empower their efforts to help others. Award categories include Animal Welfare, Veterans Outreach, Environmental and Conservation, Community Services, and Search and Rescue. The Land Rover company will accept video nominations from worthy organizations that align with one of the five categories.

Land Rover Alexandria is happy to nominate To the Rescue Inc., an non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and dogs from high-kill shelters across the United States. By saving animals who are next in line to be euthanized in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, West Virginia, Texas, and New York, To the Rescue Inc. works hard to save those who can't save themselves. Land Rover Alexandria supports this organization and proudly recommends them for the Defender Service Awards.

North American retailers across the country were invited to the annual trek off-road competition for 2022, Land Rover Alexandria included. 300 Land Rover dealerships competed in the off-road skills challenge at the Land Rover Experience Center in Manchester, VT. Everyone who participated drove the 2023 Defender 110 specially outfitted for the competition and was inspired by the original Camel Trophy competition.

This two-day competition is comprised of qualifying trials and finals and is designed to educate and test some of the best off-road driving experts in off-road driving, navigation, and team collaboration. 100 three-person teams compete to qualify for the TReK 2022 Finals where the overall winner will be crowned. Land Rover Alexandria was happy to report that we finished third in this competition - a significant notch on our belts that showcases our knowledge and understanding of the Land Rover lineup!
